In 2015, Dr. L. Murauskiene is producing an analysis for the regional study "Measuring Financial Protection in Health Systems: a New Approach for the WHO European Region". Preliminary results "Capacity to pay versusu health system in Lithuania" have been presented  during the technical workshop in Barcelona on 21st of October.

In 2014, "MTVC"-based team of interdisciplinary professionals carried out feasibility study "Art for Health in Lithuania" under the grant from Lithuanian Council for Culture. The study presents theoretical and policy approaches, evidences from the sistematic literature review, selection of good local and foreign practices, as well as  recommendations for the decision-makers and professionals. The teaching book approved by Vilnius university  is one of the project dissemination materials.

In 2014, "MTVC" conducted evaluation of "Klaipeda Harm Reduction Programme"  for Klaipeda municipality. The study covered an audit of  the services, analysis of financing and contextual factors, brought evidences of the programme effectiveness, presented recommendations for the further development. The results have been presented at Klaipeda Municipal Health Board meeting, and at the 3rd National Conference on Communicable Diseases

 In  2012-2013, „MTVC“ conducted ex-ante evaluation for Lithuanian health priorities in 2014-2020 to select investments whicn could be co-funded by the EU Structurul Funds.

Reports, recommendations and prezentations have been provided to the Ministry of Health.

In  2011, „MTVC“ within the experts' group conducted final evaluation of UNODC project "Metadone Therapy in Lithuania". Mixed-methods approach (including a survey of randomly selected patients,  surveys of both administrative staff and professionals, sites observations, qualitative non-participants study and key informants inteviews as well as secondary data analysis) had been applied to assess the Project outcomes and performance.

In  2011, „MTVC“ provided  an analysis of potential for public-private partnership in Lithuanian healthcare market for the Ministry of Health.

In  2008-2013 „MTVC“ together with partners from Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Poland and Hungary participated in  VII Framework ASSPRO CEE 2007 “Assessment of Patient Payment Policies and Projection of their Efficiency, Equity and Quality Effects. The Case of Central and Eastern Europe collaborative Project leaded by Maastricht University.   The partners participated in elaboration of the research instruments, collected and analysed qualitative information through focus group discussions and semi-structured interviews; undertook analysis of quantitative data of 2010 representative population survey, elaborated policy recommendations.

In September- December, 2008, „MTVC“-based expert group conducted  evaluation of quality  and accessibility of cardiologic and family medicine services provided by healthcare providers supported by EU Structural Funds via infrastructure modernization projects. Mixed method of evaluation were applied including quantitative (e.g. representative population survey, healthcare services statistics analysis, providers surveys) and qualitative (e.g. patients and experts interviews).

In December, 2007 – February, 2008 „MTVC“ experts together with medical professionals elaborated feasibility study on cancer healthcare in Lithuania according to the framework provided by the Ministry of Health. The study covered representative population survey on cancer prevention issues, broad-scale survey of healthcare institutions delivering specialised diagnostics and treatment of neoplasms, multisource data collection on relevant patients‘ waiting lists as well as analysis of the cancer treatment data of 2005-2007. The findings have been presented and discussed at the Ministry of Health in March, 2008.

In August-December 2007 „MTVC“ –based group of the experts conducted the study on „ Analysis of Children Mortality due to Injuries“ commissioned by the Ministry of Social Security and Labour. The findings and recommendations have been presented to representatives of various governmental and non-governmental organizations at 7th of February, 2008. Summary of the study was disseminated by the Ministry of Social Security and Labour as well as by National Health Boards (published within 2007 Report, in Lithuanian http://www3.lrs.lt/pls/inter/w5_show?p_r=697&p_k=1).

In October, 2007- February, 2008 „MTVC“ elaborated instruments for evaluation of  psychosocial rehabilitation for mentally ill within enlarged providers‘ network in Lithuania and carried out a pilot evaluation.

In October- December 2007 the qualitative study on the healthcare institutions-based services to reduce substance misuse among children in Lithuania had been carried out. The study was commissioned by the State Mental Health Centre.

In 2005-2006 Marija Veniūtė in collaboration with Vilnius University scientists performed a scientific research study on social integration opportunities of people with mental disabilities in Lithuania. The fragment of the research results on attitudes of Lithuanian residents, mental health professionals, people with mental disabilities and their relatives towards integration was published in Lithuanian journal “Health sciences” (p.573-581). In 2006 October-December MTVC experts performed a study on process evaluation of substitute methadone therapy in Lithuania in collaboration with State Mental Health Centre. The aim of the study was to evaluate the process of substitute methadone therapy services in 12 Lithuanian health care institutions providing substitute therapy treatment. Evaluation was carried out applying international scientific instruments. Representative samples of staff and clients were interviewed in order to evaluate the service provision process. Additionally a pilot study on needs assessment was carried out. Results of the study were presented in several workshops and conferences for health professionals.

In 2006 October-December MTVC experts together with State Mental Health Centre co-authored Lithuanian mental health policy, programmes and services assessment document. MTVC experts performed analysis on mental health care system and mental health financing issues – accumulated information will be included into International mental health policy, programmes and services assessment data set.

In 2006-2007 Liubovė Murauskienė perfomrmed a study on economical aspects of employment of people with severe mental illness. Research was done in the framework of Global Initiative on Psychiatry lead project EQUAL development community “Employment of people with mental and intellectual disabilities”. The study incorporated analysis of employment alternatives based on economic model.

In 2005 MTVC experts performed a study on “Health, Social and Educational services available to drug users and people with HIV/AIDS” in 4 municipalities across Lithuania.

The study aimed to evaluate accessibility of health, social and educational services for drug users and to provide recommendations for improvement of service utilization and decrease of negative consequences induced by dependency of drugs/psychotropic substances. The survey results were presented at the workshop in Vilnius municipality organized by NGO coalition “I can live”, Drug Control Department under the Government of Lithuania, Drug Control Commission of Vilnius municipality.

Study results were also presented by Liubovė Murauskienė at the scientific conference “Treatment and rehabilitation of dependence disorders” organized by Psychiatric Clinic of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine and Lithuanian Psychiatry Association.
